Welcome to Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex Scanning. This web page is maintained by Matthew Stone. I am based out of the Dallas, Texas northern suburb of Plano in Collin County. I have been an active scanner enthusiast for over 20 years and I currently own four scanners, three desktops and a handheld. I have a Radio Shack Pro-2051 that I use for streaming of my live scanner feed. I also own a Radio Shack Pro-2067 with a discriminator tap and a data slicer which is used in conjunction with ETrunker, LTR Analyzer, Trunker and Unitrunker to decode control channel streams. I also own a two other scanners, a Uniden Bearcat BC246T which is used as my every day scanner while I am mobile and a Radio Shack Pro 433 for scanning while I am at my computer desk.
