Welcome to Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex Scanning. This web page is maintained by Matthew Stone and is based out of the Dallas, Texas northern suburb of Plano in Collin County. He has been an active scanner enthusiast for over 20 years. He currently owns three scanners. He owns a Radio Shack Pro-2051 that is used for the live scanner feed. He also owns a Radio Shack Pro-2067 with a discriminator tap and a data slicer. The data slicer is used in conjunction with Trunker and Unitrunker to decode control channel streams.
