Trunked Radio

ETrunker, Trunker and Unitrunker are programs that allow you to decode the control channel data stream of various trunked radio systems. These applications require audio from the discriminator output of your scanner and can plug either into a serial port using a data slicer or into a soundcard input on your computer. From the logs you will have a good indication of what is going on with that individual trunk system. You can analyze the logs that these programs generate and from there you can tell what radios are affiliating to a particular talkgroup which will help identify the users of a particular talkgroup which is helpful with unknown talkgroups.

ETrunker supports control channel monitoring of EDACS Standard 9600 Baud and Narrow 4800 baud (Normal, ESK, Site Pro and Extended Addressing), Trunker supports Motorola Type I, Motorola Type II (SmartNet, SmartZone and OmniLink), Motorola Type IIi Hybrid and Project 25 and Unitrunker supports everything that ETrunker and Trunker supports as well as MPT1327. If you are interested in using these programs you can download ETrunker from here (ETrunker with Standard and Narrow support) and here ETrunker with ESK support), Trunker from here and Unitrunker from here.
